Typekit is a service to use real fonts on your website. PhoneGap is a open source mobile platform framework. So Adobe kind of answered the question “web apps or native apps”. At least they made sure the question will be still relevant.

As a digital designer I’m actually insulted that Adobe is investing time, staff and money in creating a product to make it easier for print designers (I’m guessing this is the goal seen as it’s InDesign inspired) to create web pages.
If you want to help web designers then invest time and money in Fireworks or a true Fireworks sucessor (NOT created with Adobe Air).
